Mazda offers a standard Skyactiv-G 2.5 turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual and sport modes for the 2023 CX-9. It delivers a stunning 250 horsepower and a powerful 320 lb.-ft of torque with premium 93 octane fuel and 227 horsepower with 310 lb-ft of torque with regular 87 octane fuel. Power is appropriately shifted to wheels for optimum performance with Mazda's unique i-Activ AWD system, which continuously monitors weight distribution. Moreover, all CX-9 models are equipped with G-Vectoring Control Plus and Off-Road Traction Assist.

Every 2023 CX-9 trim comes with complimentary Mazda Connected Services for three years, which gives the ability to monitor and control the state of the SUV by remotely logging into the MyMazda app and offering in-car Wi-Fi hotspot for a three-month or 2GB trial.
